In a mixing bowl take 1 cup maida, 1/2 Tspn baking powder, red food colour, 2 Tblspn ghee mix well. Now add water as required and knead a dough. Allow it to rest 20 minutes.

Now prepare sugar syrup. In a heavy-bottomed pan, add sugar and water (as mentioned in the recipe). Disolve sugar completely. Add lemon juice and cardmom powder. Now cook till 1 string consistency.
Now prepare flowers of dough. For that take small red and yellow dough and make balls. Now fill the yellow ball inside red dough ball. With help of hands roll it. Now with help of sharp knife make 6-8 slots over it. Slots should be till half of the dough. Prepare all flowers like this.
Now in pan heat oil and on low flame fry all flowers well.
Now put this flowers into sugar syrup for 15 minutes minimum. Of you want you can keep more time as well.
Now remove flowers from syrup, garnish with chopped almonds and serve.
