Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • khoya or mawa 250 gms


  • whole wheat flour 75 gms


  • pinch of baking soda 1 pinch


  • baking powder 1/4 tsp


  • ilaichi powder 1 tsp


  • sugar 500 gms


  • oil for frying 1/2 lt

Directions

  • knead khoya,atta ,baking powder,baking soda and cardamom powder with a little water and make a soft dough
  • rest it for 15 min
  • to make sugar syrup heat sugar and half lt water for 10 mins
  • when it turns 1 string consistency keep aside
  • make small balls out of the dough
  • heat sufficient oil in a Kadhai
  • fry these balls in low flame till it becomes golden brown to dark brown in colour
  • take them out and dip it into the sugar syrup
  • soak it for 10 mins
  • enjoy
