Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 2 cups maida

  • 1 cup wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup rawa

  • 1/2 cup oil for moun

  • 2 tsp jeera

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 200 gms chana dal

  • 1 onion

  • 2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp haldi

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1 tsp chat masala

  • 1 tsp jeera

  • 1/2 cup sweet tamarInd pulp

  • 2 tbsp coriander for garnishing

    firstly seive the flour

  • 02

    Now Mix all the above ings in a mixing bowl and make a hard dough by using water.

    Note Use water little little in turns. Cover the dough and let it rest for 1/2 hour

    Now make small lemon size balls and roll them thin puri size and deep fry on medium flame.

    Put them on a paper napkin to remove the excess oil.

    When cooled you can preserve th in a air tight container for 8_10 days.

    Firstly soak the chana dal for an hour.

    Heat oil in a cooker

  • 10

    Saute onion till transparent

  • 11

    Add all the dry masalasm stir well and cook for few mins.

    Now add the dal and mix well cook till it starts leaving oil.

    Put 1 glass of water and give 1 whistle.

    Open the cooker if excess water then on the gas and cook for few mins till its dry

    Put in a serving bowl and give tadka of jeera.

    Garnish with coriander and some chopped onion

    Enjoy your yummiiilious dalpakwan as breakfast

    Note you can even serve this dish #dalpakwan# as chaat ...as eveving snacks
