Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Methi 1 big Bunch


  • Aloo 2 Medium size


  • Ginger 1/2 inch


  • Onion 1 chopped


  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp


  • Coriander Powder 1 tbsp


  • Red chilly 1 tsp or to taste


  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste


  • Green chilly Chopped 1 -2


  • Turmeric Powder 1/3 tsp


  • Asafoetida 1/8 tsp


  • Garam Masala 1 tsp


  • Black Pepper 1/2 tsp

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add Cumin seeds to it and let it splutter.
  • Add onions to it and let it cook till it becomes translucent.
  • Add washed and finely chopped Methi to it.
  • Add salt and let it cook without covering .(Covering with lid can add bitterness to it.)
  • In another pan heat oil , add ginger to it.
  • add diced potatoes and all the spices . incorporate well.
  • Let the spices get cooked. and pour this to cooked methi leaves. Mix it well and cook it for another 2 minutes.
  • Switch off the flame and serve hot with Roti.
