Take a pressure cooker. Add ghee. Add cumin seeds to crackle.
Now add ginger paste and green chilli and sauté it for a while.
Now add tomatoes followed by all seasonings and sauté it for sometime
Then add water and allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.
Now finally add potatoes and cover the pressure cooker with a lid and allow the whistle to blow for 5-7 minutes.
Aloo tamatar is ready to be served with rice by garnishing with coriander leaves
