Peel 2 potatoes and wash them.
Cut them into thin slices.
Add salt as per taste and 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder. Mix everything very well.
Now take 1/2 cup gram flour, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder and salt as per taste.
Mix well.
Add water as required to make a batter.
Heat oil as required in a deep pan.
Now dip the slice of potato into batter and put them into hot oil.
Fry them till golden brown colour and remove them in a plate.
Serve potato pokoda.
