Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Ingredients for outer layer:


  • Semolina 1 cup


  • Water 2 cups


  • Salt according to taste


  • Stuffing ingredients:


  • Boiled and mashed potatoes 1/2 cup


  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon


  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon


  • Red chilly 1/2 teaspoon


  • Chat masala 1 teaspoon


  • Oil according to need


  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon

Directions

  • First take a non stick pan and boil water in it.
  • When water starts boiling then add salt according to taste with semolina and keep stirring so that no lumps can be there.
  • Keep stirring till semolina mixture leaves the pan and becomes like a mass.
  • Now keep it aside to cool.
  • Now for stuffing, heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 1 minute .
  • Now add potatoes with all spices and mix nicely.
  • Saute for few minutes till everything mix up nicely. switch off the flame and keep aside to cool .
  • Now heat oil for frying. Take a ping-pong ball sized semolina ball and flattened on palm.
  • Stuff ready potato mixture in it and seal nicely from all sides with semolina.
  • Deep fry it on low flame till kachori becomes crisp and golden from all sides.
  • Ready all kachoris like this and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
