Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 500 gram boiled potatoes


  • 5-6 green chillis


  • 2 spoon green coriander


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 2 pinch asofeotida


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp coriander


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 2-3 spoon curd


  • 3-4 fresh cream


  • 500 gram oil for frying.

Directions

  • Firstly chop the tomatoes and green chillis.
  • In a pan add 2-3 tbsp oil to heat.
  • Add cumin seeds, asofeotida, turmeric powder, coriander powder and make a nice roast on low flame.
  • Now add tomatoes and green chillis.
  • Roast them untill it starts to release the oil.
  • Let it cool.
  • Meanwhile peel the potatoes.
  • Now prick them with a fork or toothpick.
  • Heat oil in a pan to fry to potatoes.
  • Meanwhile our tomatoes are ready, make a smooth paste in mixer.
  • Transfer them in same pan and add 1 glass of water. Cover the lid and boil them on low flame.
  • Our oil has been heat up. Now drop pricked potatoes.
  • After 1-2 minutes make a stir in pan, so that potatoes can not be burn.
  • Fry them untill it turns golden brown.
  • Now churn the curd and add in boiling gravy. Make sure continue stir it. Otherwise it can ruin.
  • Make a boil in it. Add salt.
  • Now add fried potatoes and let them boil for 5 minutes. Make sure cover the lid.
  • After 5 minutes turn off the gas and add cream and stir well.
  • Garnish with coriander.
  • Ready to serve with chapati, or rumali roti.
