  • 2-3 nos medium potatoes

  • 3 tbsp maida

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 750 ml water

  • 1 nos greased plate or silicon sheet

  • 1 tsp butter

  • 1/2 tsp oil


  • First boil the potato and mash them well when hot else will become starchy, to this add maida salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Grease your hands and make them in oval shapes .Mean while bring water to a boil and then add the oval shapes into the water, it will sink at first as they cook it will float up .It's time to take it out then and keep in strainer.
  • Now after straining it add butter and oil into a pan and add the cooked Gnocchi. Stir it with light hands then add chilli flakes and oregano and serve hot with sauce. Tip :to avoid butter from burning you need to add oil.
