Ingredients

Serves 8

  • 2 medium apples peeled, cored and cubed

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon grated nutmeg

  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 8 spring roll sheets

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 2-3 tbsp brown sugar

  • 4 tbsp flour paste

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tbsp melted butter to brush

Directions

    In a bowl, combine apples, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon , salt and lemon juice

  • 02

    Heat butter in a pan, add apple mixture

  • 03

    Cook , stirring occasionally until apples are tender. Add flour and mix well. Cook for few seconds. Switch off

  • 04

    Place spring roll sheet on a plate in diamond shape

  • 05

    Add little apple pie filling on one side. Wrap from 3 sides like envelope. Apply flour paste on 4th side. Gently carefully roll them tightly and seal edges

    Prepare all the roll similarly

    Place them on baking tray lined with greased parchment paper with gap between them

  • 08

    Brush tops with melted butter. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown in preheated oven at 180

  • 09

    Cool for 15 minutes and now either sprinkle cinnamon sugar or icing sugar on top

  • 10

    Serve warm
