SESAME BEETROOT ROLLS

Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • Beetroot - 1 large


  • Potatoes - 2 medium


  • Bread slices - 2


  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (adjust per taste)


  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Dry mango Powder - 1/2 teaspoon


  • Garam Masala - 1/4 teaspoon


  • Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon


  • Boiled and Squeezed soya granules - 2 tablespoon


  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon


  • Oil for frying

Directions

  • First boil the potatoes, roughly mash them and keep aside. Also, boil the beet root and mash it finely.
  • Add the bread slices to a mixer jar and grind into a dry powder.
  • Add the mashed potato, grated beetroot, soya granules , all spices , bread crumbs and ginger garlic paste into a large mixing bowl. Now, mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  • Spread the sesame seeds in a plate for coating and keep aside.
  • Now heat a pan with oil for frying and set the flame to Medium. While the oil is getting heated, take a small portion of the dough. Roll it into a log shape. Now roll the prepared log into the sesame seeds as shown in picture.
  • Deep fry the rolls until both the sides turn golden brown by flipping. Once done remove from the oil and place in a paper towel to remove excess oil. Repeat the same with the other rolls.
  • Enjoy hot with ketchup or any chutney of ur choice .
  • Note - Make sure your beetroot and potato are totally dry before mashing/grating.
