Ingredients

Serves : 12
  • 1 cup Urad Dal


  • 1 1/2 cup Quinoa


  • 1 1/2 cup Idli Rava


  • 1 Tsp fenugreek seeds


  • 1 Tsp salt

Directions

  • Wash Urad Dal, Idli Rava and Quinoa separately.
  • And soak it with enough water for 3 hours.
  • Also, soak fenugreek seeds.
  • After 3 hours remove the excess water from Dal, Rava and Quinoa.
  • Grind Dal along with fenugreek seeds. Grind into a smooth paste.
  • Grind Quinoa separately.
  • Now mix all the ground mixture together.
  • Mix it well. For 2 minutes.
  • Now pour this batter into an airtight container. And allow it to ferment for 4-5 hours in a warm place.
  • After 5 hours, you see the batter is fermented properly. Mix it well and add salt to it
  • Grease the Idli plates. And pour the Idli batter into the cavity.
  • Heat water in an Idli cooker and place these idli plates in it. And steam it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Till the idlis get good.
  • Allow it to cool, remove the Idlis and serve it with piping hot sambhar and chutney.
