Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cup mix of chopped veggies (spring onions, cabbage, bell peppers)


  • 2 medium potatoes grated


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 4 tbsp maida


  • 2 tbsp corn flour


  • 3 tbsp Schezwan sauce


  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs


  • 3/4 Cup fresh bread crumbs

Directions

  • heat oil in a pan
  • add grated potatoes and vegetables
  • Saute for 2 minutes over medium heat , add salt and mix well
  • add 2 tbsp maida. Mix well, saute for 30 seconds. Switch off
  • add fresh bread crumbs and Schezwan sauce to mixture, mix well, knead into soft dough
  • add one fourth Cup water to maida and cornflour and make a slurry in a bowl
  • In another bowl, add dry breadcrumbs and keep it aside
  • Divide dough into lemon sized balls. Shape them like a roll
  • Dip the rolls in slurry and coat with breadcrumbs well
  • Again coat with slurry and breadcrumbs. Do this until dough is completed
  • Refrigerate rolls for 30 minutes
  • Deep fry rolls over medium heat until golden brown
  • Drain excess oil over tissue paper
  • Serve hot with sauce or chutney
