Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup Parboiled rice

  • 1/2 cup Urad dal

  • 1 tsp uniodized salt

  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds

  • 1 tbsp Bengal gram

  • 1/4 cup oil or ghee

  • 250 gm Chicken boneless cubes

  • 1 tbsp Red chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp Tikka masala

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tbsp Chilli garlic sauce

  • 1 tsp 1 tsp Oil butter

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 7-8 curry leaves

Directions

  • Make a thick batter with all the ingredients mentioned under the dosa batter. Leave it to ferment overnight. Make dosas or uttappams using oil or ghee as per your preference.
  • Saute the chicken as desired using the ingredients mentioned. While sauteeing, use oil and butter both. Also use curry leaves.
  • Stir well and allow to cook on low flame for 12 to 15 minutes. Keep aside until assembling.
  • Spread the sauteed chicken on the dosas or the uttappams at first. You can opt for mayonnaise, coconut chuney or even the good old ketchup if desired. Try this awesome wrap, the next time you prepare the batter for steaming hot dosas.
  • My innovative idea @ it's best. This one is sure to tickle your tastebuds. It is so simple to make too. No one can resist it. Enjoy the desi South Indian twist to this funky frankie/wrap/roll with your loved ones. Use of boneless chicken makes it more delectable and addition of spices play an important role. Since dosas or uttappams are bland, having them in this way makes them more delicious and everyone will enjoy it's new avatar.
