Ingredients

  • 4 wheat bread slices

  • 1 tablespoon softened butter

  • 2-4 cheese slices

  • 1 tomato thinly sliced

  • Pesto; 10-12 black olives chopped

  • 8-10 cashews

  • 2 tablespoons pistachios

  • 8-10 almonds

  • 1/4 cup Indian basil leaves, tulsi

  • Salt to taste, 1/4 teaspoon

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, crushed

  • 1/4 cup olive or any oil

Directions

    Butter all your bread slices on one side and keep ready

  • 02

    Thinly slice tomatoes

  • 03

    chop olives and keep ready

  • 04

    Prepare pesto by grinding all ingredients mentioned under the pesto section leaving the chopped olives aside

    Grind a semi smooth paste and mix the chopped olives

  • 06

    arrange cheese slice on one buttered bread slice

  • 07

    place a few tomato slices

  • 08

    generously spread the pesto sauce prepared just now

  • 09

    place another slice of bread on top. slightly press and slice.

    serve with tea or coffee
