Ingredients

Serves : 12
  • 250g flour


  • 50g sugar


  • 1 egg


  • 15g butter


  • 50ml water


  • 70ml milk


  • 10g yeast

Directions

  • In a bowl add flour , sugar and a pinch of salt
  • Mix water, milk, egg, yeast together and add to the dry ingredients.
  • Knead well until a soft dough is formed.
  • Add the butter and knead until well incorporated in the dough.
  • Leave to rise in a warm place for about 25-30 mins .
  • Roll out the dough and cut the donuts using a round cutter or any other cutter is fine .
  • Leave to rise again for 10 mins
  • Fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides.
  • Sprinkle some icing sugar on top
  • Ready to be served.
