Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1/2 cup chestnuts dried grinded


  • 1/3 cup gramflour pr besan


  • 1 cup curd homemade or dahi


  • 1 small chopped


  • 2 sabut red pepper


  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated


  • 4 to 5 cloves of garlic chopped


  • 1 tablespoon salt


  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder


  • 1 tablespoon turmeric or bit more


  • 1 tablespoon chaat masala


  • 1/3 tablespoon black pepper powder


  • 1 tablespoon kitchen king


  • 1 pinch of hing


  • 1/2 tablespoon rai or black mustard seeds


  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds


  • 1/2 tablespoon dhaniya dana or coriander seeds


  • 4 to 5 seeds of methi dana


  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder


  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder


  • 2 or 3 curry leaves


  • 1/2 tablespoon kasoori methi


  • 4 tablespoons tamarind paste in the end to make more sour and flavorful is optional

Directions

  • Mix curd gramflour grinded chestnuts
  • Now add all the spices one by one
  • Add some water to mix well
  • Now take pan out some sunflower oil
  • Roast all the seeds like cumin seeds garlic ginger coriander seeds rai hing methi dana sabut red pepper curry leaves
  • Now put mixture of kadhi
  • Take one boil at high flame
  • Now keep boiling at very low flame for atleast 40 minutes
  • Check every after 4 minutes
  • Yummy chestnuts kadhi is ready
  • Add tamarind sauce to make more flavorful is optional
