Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 200 gms tofu cubes


  • 2 nos onion chopped


  • 4-5 nos garlic clove


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 2 nos tomatoes chopped


  • 3 tsp oil


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp salt or as per taste


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1/2 tsp cumin


  • 1/2 tsp whole garam masala


  • 2 tsp cream


  • 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp crushed kasuri methi

Directions

  • Grind onion, garlic, ginger and tomatoes with little water into a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a wok and lightly fry tofu cubes and take out from the oil.
  • Add cumin and whole garam masala allow it to splutter than add grounded paste and saute till the oil separates.
  • Now add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder mix well.
  • Add 1 cup water and bring it to boil.
  • Now add fried tofu cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Finally add cream, garam masala, kasuri methi and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and switch off the gas.
  • Serve with roti, pratha or naan.
