Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Green moong dal 250 gm.


  • Salt 1tsp


  • Turmeric 1/4tsp


  • Asafetida 1 pinch


  • Fresh Sweet curd 500 gm.


  • Sweet tamarind chutney 2-4tbsp*as required)


  • Black salt 1/2 tsp (for sprinkle as required)


  • Red chilli powder, dry mint powder 1/2tsp( as required for sprinkle)


  • Chat masala 1/2tsp(as required for sprinkle)


  • Baking soda 1/4sp.


  • Oil 300 ml. For frying

Directions

  • Soak the green lentil about 4 hour.
  • After 4 hour wash the lentil & remove the green skin/husk . Drain the extra water now grind the soaked lentil without adding water make thick paste.
  • Now add salt, turmeric and asafetida and mix well now add baking soda n mix well.
  • Put the kadhai on flame add oil n heat it. Now make small size bada by mixture fry untill they turn golden crispy turn out of napkin pepper.
  • Now soak all the bada in warm water keep aside about half hour.
  • Take curd in mixing bowl add sugar as prr taste mix well until curd get smooth texture.
  • Now take a mitti bowl put some sweet curd take out the bada in water squeeze extra water put on curd add more curd on bada add sweet tamarind chutney sprinkle some black salt,chat masala,red chilli serve it.
  • For tamarind chutney- add 1/2cup tamarind pulp in pan 1 cup of jeggery add 1/2 cup of water cook with continues stir untill chutney get thick add sime salt ,chilli powder ,roasted cumin n coriander powder and ladtly add some dry ginger powder mix well cook about 2-3 minutes more switch off the flame. Store this chutney in ur fridge about 15-30 days and use any type of chaat recipes.
