Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • Soyabean Lentil / Soyabean ki daal 1 Cup


  • Soya nugget 1 Cup


  • Maida / All purpose flour 1 cup or as needed


  • Salt 1/2 tsp


  • Icecream sticks 20-25

Directions

  • Firstly wash and soak the Soyabean lentil in enough water for atleat 6 hours.
  • After soaking drain the excess water and grind into a smooth paste by adding 1/4 cup water.
  • Boil the Soya chunks in enough water for 5 minutes.
  • Drain and sqeeze the excess water and grind the boiled soya chunks into smooth paste without adding water.
  • Now in a big bowl take both paste add salt and mix well.
  • Now add maida little by little and make a smooth soft dough.
  • Now take a ball size dough and make a thin roti.
  • Cut 1 inch stripes from the roti.
  • Roll one stripe on icecream stick as shown in pic or vdo.
  • Make all sticks ready from the dough.
  • In a big vessel boil 1 littre water.
  • When water comes to boil add soya sticks and let it boil for 20 minutes.
  • After boiling take out the sticks and let it cool down completely.
  • Your homemade Soyachap Sticks are ready to use. Ypu can male soya chap masala, soya chap tikka and any recipe of your choice.
  • Soya chap are rich in protein and a best choice for those who dont eat nonveg.
