Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cup almonds


  • 1 cup powdered sugar


  • 1/2 cup milk


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 10-12 saffron strands

Directions

  • Boil one and half cup water..as water starts boiling switch off the flame and add almonds in it
  • Cover and keep aside for 5 mins
  • Mix milk and saffron and keep aside
  • Drain out the almonds after 5 min and transfer in cold water bowl.Now peel the almonds and soak them in cold water for 1 hrs
  • Later drain the almonds and put in mixer grinder along with saffron milk and 1/2 cup milk and grind to fine paste
  • Heat the pan with 2 tsp of ghee.Tranfer grinded almonds along with sugar and cook until it become thick
  • Place this peda on a greased paper and roll them in a rectangular shape
  • Cut in desired shape and enjoy
