  • 1. For lentils Spinach wrap

  • 2 cup mix daal (1/2 cup Toor dal, 1/2 cup chana dal, 3/4 cup moong dal, 1/4 cup urad dal, 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds)

  • 1 tsp Salt to taste

  • 1/2 bunch of chopped spinach leaves

  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 2. For Aloo beet curry

  • 3 boiled & mashed potatoes

  • 2 tbsp grated beetroot

  • 3/4 tsp Mustard seeds

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

  • 5-6 Curry leaves

  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tbsp oil or as needed

  • 1 medium size finely chopped onion

  • 2 green chilli Chopped

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tbsp peanuts

  • 1/4 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp urad dal

  • 1/2 tsp chana daal

  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • Firstly take the mixing bowl add all lentils wash and soak overnight or minimum 5-6 hours.
  • After drain the water and transfer to the blender or mixi jar and grind to smooth paste. Do not add more water.
  • Now take roughly chopped spinach leaves and make the smooth purée to adding little water.
  • Further add garam masala, cumin seeds , Salt to taste , and spinach purée to the grinded lentils mixture.
  • Then give a good mix. now batter is ready. keep aside
  • For Curry :- Take a pan heat the oil and add mustard and cumin seeds, Curry leaves allow to splutter them.
  • Next add urad and chana dal fry till they turns light golden brown colour.
  • Add chopped Onion saute well until they translucent. Then add spices and salt to taste.
  • Further more add mashed potatoes and grated beetroot mix well together.
  • Lastly add chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. now aloo beet curry is ready. keep aside
  • for Wrap - Heat the nonstick pan. grease the oil or Ghee take the ladlefull of lentils Spinach batter and pour on tawa. spread evenly with help of spoon. Close the lid and cook for few minutes.
  • Uncover and check the cookness. Now place the prepared aloo beet Curry on wrap. Then roll it carefully. Cook it few seconds after remove to plate.
