  • Whole masoor- 1/2cup

  • Dalia- 3tbsp

  • Carrot- 1medium

  • Tomato- 2small

  • Green peas- 1/2cup

  • Haldi- 1/2tsp

  • Red chili powder- 1/2tsp

  • Salt- 1/2tsp

  • Chopped coriander leaves- 1tsp

  • Desi Ghee- 1tsp

  • Lemon wedges- 1

  • Black pepper powder- 1/2tsp


  • In a deep kadai add masoor,dalia, haldi , red chili powder, salt and black pepper powder and keep on gas and allow to boil
  • In the mean time chop all the veggies
  • Add the chopped veggies to the dal and dalia mixture and cook up to mushy
  • While serving add ghee, coriander leaves and lemon juice to the soup
