Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup soaked boiled chick pea


  • 1/2 cup mini soya chunks


  • 2 tbl ghee


  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder


  • 2 tsp biryani powder


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tbs mint leaves chopped


  • 2 tbs Chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 tbs fried onions


  • 2 to 3 green Cardamom


  • 1 cinnamon stick


  • 2 to 3 black pepper


  • 4 tbs curd


  • 2 cup basmati rice 1/4 turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Rinse rice well, and soak in enough water for 1/2hr
  • Meanwhile, boil the enough water in a pan add salt and soya chunks, keep it for 1 min. And switch off the gas.
  • Leave the soya chunk in hot water for 2 min, then drain it, and gently squeeze, rinse with fresh water again, squeeze extra water and keep it aside.
  • Take a bowl add boiled chick pea and soya chunks, add 2 tbs mint leaves, 2 tbs green coriander leaves, biryani masala, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, salt, 2 tbs ghee, turmeric powder, black pepper. Fried onion curd.
  • Mix all ingredients well, and keep it for mariganation for about 15 min.
  • After 15 min transfer this mariganation into kadai aur pan, add drained soaked rice, and 3 cup water, now put this pan on gas over medium heat
  • After one boil simmer the gas and cover pan with lid, now let it cook on slow flame about 10 - 15 min.
  • Occasionally stirring.
  • After 15 min switch off the flame. And let it cook biryani to cool down for 10 min
  • After 10 min serve hot biryani with veg raiyata
