Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Lauki - 250gms


  • Chana dal- 250gms


  • Ginger- 1inch


  • Garlic- 5cloves


  • Green cardamom- 2


  • Cinnamon- 1/2inch


  • Clove- 3


  • Pepper corn- 4 to 6


  • Haldi- 1/2tsp


  • Red chili powder- 1/2tsp


  • Salt - 1/2tsp


  • Chopped onion- 1/2cup


  • Chopped coriander leaves- 2tbsp


  • Chopped mint leaves- 2tbsp


  • Oil - 5 tbsp


  • Coriander powder- 1/2tsp


  • Cumin- 1tsp


  • Besan- 3 to 4 tbsp

Directions

  • Soak chana dal for 1hour
  • In a kadai add chopped lauki, soaked chana dal, ginger, garlic, whole garam masala, cumin, salt, haldi, red chili and water to cover all the ingredients. Cook this up to chana dal is cooked up yo mushy and dry
  • Let it cool down completely
  • Preheat the oven for 10mins
  • Grind the cooked ingredients
  • Dry roast the besan up to aromatic
  • In a big bowl add chana dal, chopped onion, chopped coriander and mint leaves, chopped green chili, cumin powder and dry roasted besan. Mix everything properly
  • You can add or reduce the besan quantity
  • Now make patties and keep aside
  • Grease a bake proof try and place the patties and also apple little oil
  • Bake this 200degree celcius for 7 to 8mins or upto golden in both sides.
