Ingredients

  • Kidney beans or Rajma 2 cups


  • Boiled potatoes 2-3


  • Ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon


  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon


  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon


  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon


  • Semolina or Suji 1 tablespoon


  • Oil 2-3 tablespoons for shallow frying


  • Green chillies paste 1-2 teaspoon as per taste


  • Bread slices 2


  • Chat Masala 2 teaspoon

Directions

  • This is very unique snack recipe of kidney beans. Very quick and easy to make, yet very tasty delicious and crisp from outside and soft and juicy from inside . Protein packed snack perfect as a starter, side dish or snack for a party . Lets begin to prepare Rajma Patties
  • First of all wash kidney beans water and soak in sufficient water for 6 hours
  • Later , add salt according to taste in soaked kidney beans and pressure cook for 4-5 the cells until soft
  • Allow it to cool properly and then remove excess water from boiled kidney beans
  • in a mixing bowl take boiled kidney beans, boiled potato, bread slices, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam Masala and salt according to taste
  • Mix well everything into a uniform dough. don't mash it too much
  • Prepare Patties from the uniform mixture
  • coat them in semolina or suji all over
  • Heat oil on non stick Pan and shallow fry all the patties from both the sides , until golden brown and crisp from all over
  • Garnish with some green chutney / tomato sauce and serve hot immediately with green chutney or tomato sauce
  • Enjoy endlessly with family and friends
  • Additionally, at the time of serving, sprinkle some chat masala for supreme taste
