Heat the loni or malai in a heavy bottom pan on a low flame.
Keep stirring it continuously.
After some time the malai will release ghee and the milk solids would turn light brown.
Keep stirring as we dont want it to burn.
When all the milk resedue turn light brown and the ghee starts floating drain the ghee in a jar and store it in refrigerator.
The leftover milk solid is beri.
Remove betel leaf and cloves and add 2 -3 tsp sugar. mix it well and eat.
This beri can be used to make different sweets ilke beri wadi, beri cake too.
