Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • 1 Cup green gram/moong dal


  • 1 onion finely chopped


  • 2 Tomato finely chopped


  • 2 Green Chili finely chopped


  • 5-6 garlic clove


  • 1 taespoon turmeric powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds


  • 2 bay leaf


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 4 clove


  • 2 green cardamom


  • 5 -6 black pepper


  • 1 tsp salt as per test


  • 2tabs finely chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp kasuri methi


  • 2-3tabs oil

Directions

  • Firstly soak green lentil for 5-6hour.
  • after that in a pressure cooker add soaked daal, green chilli and bay leaf, close the lid and cook until 2whistle. makes sure not over cook.
  • now in a pan/ kadhai heat oil add cumin seeds, whole spices, bay leaf and chopped onion Saute until they get a nice golden colour.
  • after that add all dry masala and chop tomato cook it on low flame until tomato get soft.
  • now add boiled Dal salt and kasuri Methi mix it well.
  • cover it and cook 4-5 minutes more after that add chopped coriander. leaves
  • now moong dal curry is ready to serve.
