Ingredients

Serves 6

  • 1 Cup green gram/moong dal

  • 1 onion finely chopped

  • 2 Tomato finely chopped

  • 2 Green Chili finely chopped

  • 5-6 garlic clove

  • 1 taespoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

  • 2 bay leaf

  • 1 inch cinnamon

  • 4 clove

  • 2 green cardamom

  • 5 -6 black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt as per test

  • 2tabs finely chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 tsp kasuri methi

  • 2-3tabs oil

Directions

    Firstly soak green lentil for 5-6hour.

  • 02

    after that in a pressure cooker add soaked daal, green chilli and bay leaf, close the lid and cook until 2whistle. makes sure not over cook.

    now in a pan/ kadhai heat oil add cumin seeds, whole spices, bay leaf and chopped onion Saute until they get a nice golden colour.

    after that add all dry masala and chop tomato cook it on low flame until tomato get soft.

    now add boiled Dal salt and kasuri Methi mix it well.

    cover it and cook 4-5 minutes more after that add chopped coriander. leaves

  • 07

    now moong dal curry is ready to serve.
