Soak gram for 5-6 hours then drain excess water.
Put gram, soya badi,onion, ginger- garlic, black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, cumin seeds, red chilly, salt, 1 cup water in pressure cooker. Cook all ingredients together on medium heat for 2 whistles and reduce heat on low ; again cook for 10 minutes. Switch off the gas station. Cool down completely.
Take out cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves then grind in mixer jar till smooth paste.
Now keep mixture in a bowl. Add kashmiri chilly powder, coriander leaves, egg (optional),bread crumbs and stir very well.
Now make kababes round or long as per your preference.
Heat oil in a pan. Shallow fry kababes both sides till golden brown colour.
Serve hot mouth melting kababes with mint dip, tomato sauce and onion salad.
