Mix saffron strands with 1 tsp milk,stir to mix and set aside
Soak pearl millet in water for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes remove from water,
Give millets a very quick pulse in mixer to seperate loosened husk
Remove into a big plate,or thali and blow on themto remove the husk
Add one table spoon ghee in pressure cooker
Fry millet for 2-3 minutes
Pressure cook the millet with 2 cup of water for 3-4 whistle
In a thick bottom pan or wok add milk and boiled millets
Allow it to cook on low flame, stirring continuously
It will take 40-45 minutes for millets to cook,as well as Milk to reduce
Turn off the flame
Add sugar and stir well
Add saffron milk,and chopped nuts and cardamom powder
Serve hot
