Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup cowpea


  • 1 cup horsegram


  • 1cup chickpea


  • 2 onions diced


  • 4 green or red chillies


  • 1teaspoon mustard


  • 1teaspoon jeera


  • 10 curry leaves


  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • 2tablespoon chopped coriander leaves


  • 2 tablespoon grated coconut


  • 1 tablespoon Salt

Directions

  • Pressure cook all grains for 4 whistle with salt. strain water. chickpeas should be soaked before cooking.
  • In a pan heat oil add mustard and jeera after mustard start popping add chillies and curry leaves. Add onions. Add little salt. note: already added salt for grains
  • After onions are done add boiled grains
  • Add coconut and chopped coriander leaves and serve hot as side dish with rice sambar
