Ingredients

  • Whole moong dal 1 cup


  • Fresh green peas 1 cup


  • Finely chopped onion 1 small size


  • Grated ginger 1 tsp


  • Finely chopped tomato 1 small size


  • Finely chopped green chilly 1


  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp


  • Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp


  • Salt 1/4 tsp


  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp


  • Butter 1 tsp


  • Fresh cream 2 tbsp


  • Coriander leaves 1 tsp

Directions

  • Wash whole moong dal. Pressure cook with four cup of water and salt Heat butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds to crackle. Add onion and saute till dark brown. Add green chilly,tomato,ginger and green peas and cook in a medium flame. When green peas are soft add whole moong dal and black pepper powder and cook for five mins. Garnish with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
