Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Yellow urad dal 2 cup


  • Rice flour 2 tbsp


  • Crushed black pepper 1/4 tsp


  • Chopped green chili 2


  • Finely chopped ginger 1 inch stick


  • Curry leaves 10


  • Asafoetida 1/4 tsp


  • Chopped coconut 2 tbsp


  • Salt 1/2 tsp


  • Oil for frying 1 cup

Directions

  • METHOD Wash and soak yellow urad dal for 3 - 4 hours. and grind to a fine paste. Add salt,ginger,green chilly,curry leaves,asafoetida,coconut,crushed black pepper and rice flour and mix well. Heat enough oil in a deep frying pan. Make equal size balls. Deep fry in hot oil until golden color. Always cook in medium flame. We drop all bonda and coo in medium flame un til done. Serve with coconut chutney.
