Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup maida


  • 1 pinch of salt


  • 1 teaspoon baking soda


  • 4 to 5 tablespoon sour curd


  • 1 cup water


  • 1 cup oil

Directions

  • In a hollow bowl or wide plate add maida
  • Now add salt and well mix it so that salt is well mixed with flour
  • Now add baking soda and mix well
  • Now add sour curd and knead well
  • Add water slowly and knead well for 10mkn thoroughly
  • After kneading punch it for other 5min
  • The rising of bhature and softness is in kneading and punching
  • Now apply 2 tablespoon of oil to the dough and tuck it
  • Let the dough rest for 2hrs cover with a damp cloth and set aside
  • After two hrs dough slightly rises knead again well and make small balls from it
  • Meanwhile in a vok add oil for deep frying
  • Now take one ball and add some flour and with rolling pin roll on the dough in one direction auch that you get oval shape
  • In heneral street food they make oval shape if you prefer you can make it round
  • Prepare all pooris, make sure oil is super hot now slowly drop your bhature into oil
  • And with perforated spatula pour oil onto the bhatura and press slightly so that they rise that is phulna/pongadam
  • Thus bhature is ready serve with chole 😉
