  • Pumpkin 1 cup

  • Red lentils 1 cup

  • Garlic 4 cloves

  • Ginger 1 inch

  • Onion 1

  • Black pepper 1 tbs

  • Spinach 1/2 cup

  • Black salt 1 tbs

  • Roasted cumin powder 1 tbs

  • Butter 1 inch

  • Carrots 1/2 cup


  • Wash , clean and chop the veggies. Wash and clean the lentils and keep aside.
  • In a pressure cooker take all veggies( including onion, garlic and cloves) and lentils . Pressure cook them for 3 whistles in low medium flame.
  • When its done cool it down and grind it into fine paste so that no lumps should be there.
  • Now preheat a pan with butter add the prepared paste and water to check the consistency. Now give ut a boil and add black salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder.
  • Stir and cook for a while and when its done turn off the flame.
  • Now serve the soup hot with croutons and enjoy.
