Ingredients

  • 225 gm dry chickpeas (garbanzo beans)


  • 1 cup fresh parsley chopped


  • 1 Fresh coriander leaves chopped


  • 4 tsp gram flour


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 3 pod garlic minced


  • 2 green chilly


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1 tsp or as per taste Salt


  • 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup Oil

Directions

  • Add the garbanzo beans into a large bowl and soak in water overnight (the water should be a couple inches higher than the beans, so the beans plump up).
  • Rinse the beans and add them to a food processor with chopped parsley, coriander leaves, minced garlic, green chilly.
  • Process the ingredients together until it looks like a coarse paste.
  • Take out course paste in a bowl and all all spices,gram flour and salt, again mix well.
  • Make the paste into small balls, rolling them in your hand.
  • In a good frying skillet add oil, Heat the oil and drop balls on medium heat and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Take out on absorbent paper. serve with hummus.
