  • 2 bokchoy halved

  • 2tsp chopped garlic

  • 1tsp grated ginger

  • 1/2tsp green chilli

  • 1/4 cup sliced red capsicum

  • 1/4 cup sliced mushroom

  • 1/4 thinly sliced onion

  • 1tbsp chopped chives

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup coconut cream

  • 1tsp Salt

  • 1/2tsp turmeric paste

  • 1tsp grounded black pepper

  • 2tsp roasted flaxseeds

  • 1tbsp coconut oil


  • In a grill pan put a teaspoon of coconut oil and place sliced bokchoy halves on it
  • Let it cook from both the sides until it turns golden. Keep aside
  • Now in a deep wok add the remaing oil and put garlic in it.
  • Once it turns golden add in ginger and onion together.
  • Keep sauteing on medium flame until onion turns translucent.
  • You may now add capsicum and mushroom and cook on high flame for 2 minutes
  • Add salt, turmeric paste and black pepper.
  • Mix well and add water.
  • Once it comes to rolling boil you can add coconut milk and stir it continously until its first boil.
  • Now add coconut cream in 3 parts , mixing well each time.
  • Now slowly slip in the halved bokchoy and let the mixture come to boil again.
  • Sprinkle chives and flaxseeds
  • Serve hot
