Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 200 gram cubed paneer


  • 1.5 cups water


  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala


  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder


  • 1/2 cup full fat curd


  • 2 tbsp low fat cream


  • 1 pinch crushed saffron


  • 1-2 drops kewra essence


  • 3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar adjust


  • 1 onion roughly chopped


  • 2 tbsp cashews


  • 3-4 garlic cloves


  • 1 tablespoon melon seeds


  • 1 tablespoon almond


  • 1 inch grated Ginger


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 2-3 cloves


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 2-3 green cardamom


  • 1/2 teaspoon shahi jeera


  • 1-2 black Cardamom


  • 2-3 tbsp ghee/oil

Directions

  • boil onions cashews Almonds ginger garlic in 1.5 cups of water for 8 to 10 minutes
  • strain the water and keep the stock aside grind this mixture to smooth paste
  • heat ghee in a pan add all the whole spices and saute for 23 minutes
  • Add the ground paste and saute until mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan
  • add all the spice powders and mix well
  • add stock , whisked curd, salt and little sugar mix well well
  • stir and cook for 8 to 10 minutes over low medium heat
  • add cardamom powder and trust Saffron mix well
  • add paneer and whisked cream. Mix well
  • cook for 2-3 minutes add kewra essence and mix well
  • Garnish with 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves , Serve hot with chapati Roti Aur Naan
