Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cup chana dal soaked


  • 2 tomato purred


  • 4 green chilly chopped


  • 2 bay leaf


  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tbsp chopped green coriander


  • 2 tbsp desi ghee


  • 1/2 tsp jeera


  • 1/1 tsp salt or per taste


  • 1/1 tsp hing

Directions

  • Boil chana dal along with salt or 3-4 whistle
  • Heat ghee in a wik and add hing and jeera
  • As jeera crackle add bay leaf and saute it
  • Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,green chilly and cook for a while
  • Add pureed tomato and cook till ghee releases
  • Add garam masala and green coriander
  • Add boiled dal in it and let it simmer on low flame
  • Seeve it with chapati or boiled rice
