Heat oil in a saucepan or pressure cooker.
Add mustard seeds. Let it crackle.
Add onion and sauté it for 2-3minutes.
Add tomato and green chilli .
Now add red chilli powder, Turmeric powder and salt and mix it.
add 1/2 cup water ,mix it and Cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame ,while stirring occasionally.
Add matki, sprouted moong and mix it.
Now add remaining water , mix well and pressure Cook for 3-4 whistle.
At the serving time add some mixed farsan/ poha /sev, some chopped onion and chopped green coriander leaves on top of misal.
Serve misal with pavs and lemon wedges.
