Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa


  • 1/2 cup cooked rice


  • 2 tbsp. roasted chickpea flour


  • 1 tbsp. rice flour


  • 1 onion, chopped


  • 1 tsp. ginger-garlic paste


  • 1 tsp. tomato paste


  • 1-2 green chilies, chopped


  • 2-3 tbsp. coriander roots, chopped


  • 1 tsp. coriander powder


  • 1 tsp. salt or to taste


  • 1 tsp. cumin powder


  • 1 tsp. flaxseed powder


  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder


  • 1/2 tsp. amchur powder


  • 1/2 tsp. red chili flakes


  • 2-3 tbsp. oil to shallow fry

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix all the above mentioned ingredients (except oil) and knead into a dough. Divide into equal portions and shape as desired. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a little oil and shallow fry the tikkis in batches on both sides till light golden in colour. Drain on a kitchen towel and serve them hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
