Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Milk-1/2 liter


  • Sugar-1/2 cup


  • Saffron 10-12 leaves (soaked in 1 tbsp milk)


  • Chopped nuts_1/4 cup-almonds (blanched), cashew nuts,pista, raisins


  • Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp


  • Makhane-12-13


  • Milk cream-1/2 cup(malai)


  • Soaked rice_1 tbsp(soaked in water for 1/2 an hour)


  • Grated fresh paneer-1 cup

Directions

  • in a pan heat milk
  • Remove rice from water
  • Add rice in milk
  • Simmer over low flame, stirring occasionally till the rice is cooked and the milk becomes thick
  • When done add makhane, cardamom powder,milk cream,sugar raisins,almond, cashew nuts
  • Stir till sugar dissolves,add saffron leaves soaked in milk
  • Stir well
  • Now turn off flame, transfer into a serving dish
  • Add grated paneer
  • Sprinkle more dry fruits
  • Now ur healthy ,tasty yummy kheer is ready
