Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1/2 cup SEVIYA OR VERMICELLI


  • 2 pieces medium JAGGERY OR GURR crushed


  • 1 and half cup milk


  • 1/2 cup water


  • 1/3 cup SUGAR

Directions

  • Boil sewiyan in water for 5 minutes
  • Now add milk slowly and have one boil.turn the flame very low and simmer it until sewiyan looks at upper layer with milk.it will take 15 to 25 minutes
  • Now add sugar if it looks very thick we can add more boiled milk.it depends on wish that many people like thick or many like less sewiya with more liquid
  • Mix sugar with sewiya properly and turn the gas off after taking one last boil.
  • Now add gurr or jaggery in the very last and let it mix properly
  • Yummy and nutritious gurr ki sewiyan are ready
  • Its really helpful and healthy to cure hard cough.add desi ghee when serve
