Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 litre milk.


  • 1 cup poha roasted in ghee until golden


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 4 strands of saffron


  • 8 cashes roasted in ghee


  • 5 raisins

Directions

  • Heat milk in a vessel and reduce it to half
  • Add cashews, sugar and raisins. Wait till raisins become plum.
  • Stir well on low flame.
  • Add the roasted poha in the milk and cook till poha becomes soft.
  • Add saffron strands and wait till milk changes to kesariya color.
  • Scrap off excess milk from the sides of the pan and stir well.
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve chilled.
