Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cup basmati rice


  • 1 cup peas


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp ghee


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 1 green chilly slit


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 3 tsp oil


  • 1 cinnamon stick


  • 1 pinch food color

Directions

  • Heat oil and add cinnamon stick, cumin seeds and onions.
  • When onion turns golden add ginger garlic paste and chilli.
  • Wait till raw smell goes off.
  • Add peas and salt.
  • Add rice and 1 cup water. Cook for 2-3 whitsles
  • Add some food color in 1 tsp cooked rice and mix it well with pulao.
  • Peas pulao is ready to serve.
