Ingredients

Serves : 6
  • Carrot-(1/2 ) kg


  • Sugar-1/2 cup(or according to your taste)


  • Saffron-8-10


  • Chopped almonds-8-10


  • Cashew nuts-7-8 chopped


  • Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp


  • Ghee-2 tbsp


  • Cream-1/2 cup(malai)


  • Milk -1/2 lit.

Directions

  • Peel and wash carrots
  • Grate with grater
  • Add 2 tbsp ghee in pan or kadahi
  • Trun on flame,
  • Add grated carrot in kadahi,
  • On medium flame roast carrot 8-10 minutes,till all water absorbe
  • Add milk ,sugar,malai(cream), cardamom powder, and stir regularly for another 10-15 minutes till milk reduce and thick
  • Add cashew nuts, raisins, almonds,kesar
  • Stir continuously for 4-5 minutes more
  • Remove from heat, decorate with slice almonds
