Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup maida/ all purpose flour


  • 1/2 cup sour curd


  • 1 tablespoon salt


  • 1 tablespoon oil


  • 1 pack of butter at room temp

Directions

  • In a bowl add maida, salt and mix thoroughly so that salt mixes well
  • Now add curd and required water and make a dough
  • Knead the dough for about 15min and apply oil to it and allow to rest for about 4hrs
  • The more you allow to rest the more fluffy it is
  • In general if I prepare for lunch then I will prepare dough in the morning
  • After 4hrs make small balls out of the dough and flatten that is make roti shape
  • Now apply water to one side of thr flatten roti and place that side onto the high heated pan
  • Now turn the pan such that roti gets direct heat from the stove
  • You will observe it starts to become fluffy now turn pan back again and roat the other side
  • After they get roasted both the sides apply butter and serve hot with curry
