Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 3 potatoes boiled and mashed


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 1 spring of curry leaves


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tbsp gram flour


  • 1 pinch soda


  • 2 cups oil for frying

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions.
  • Add ginger garlic paste , curry leaves and saute
  • Add salt and coriander and cumin powder. When onion turns golden add potatoes
  • Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix well
  • Add fresh coriander chopped.
  • In a bowl take gram flour and add some salt and soda.mix it.
  • Add some water and make a not so thick not thin batter.
  • Take potato mixture and divide into small balls.
  • Dip it into the batter .
  • Heat oil on high flame and deep fry balls until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with chutney and fried chillies.
