Heat oil in a pan and add onions.
Add ginger garlic paste , curry leaves and saute
Add salt and coriander and cumin powder. When onion turns golden add potatoes
Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Mix well
Add fresh coriander chopped.
In a bowl take gram flour and add some salt and soda.mix it.
Add some water and make a not so thick not thin batter.
Take potato mixture and divide into small balls.
Dip it into the batter .
Heat oil on high flame and deep fry balls until golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney and fried chillies.
