Spinach Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 200g Mushroom, chopped


  • 1 cup Spinach leaves, chopped


  • 3 tbsp low fat cream


  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste


  • 1 small onion finely chopped


  • 1 big tomato finely chopped


  • 2 teaspoon kitchen king masala


  • 2 teaspoon chili powder adjust


  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder


  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder


  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder


  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice optional


  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves to garnish

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and ginger garlic paste
  • Saute for 4-5 minutes over medium heat
  • Add all spice powders and mix well for 30 second
  • Add tomatoes and cook until mushy
  • Add mushrooms and mix well
  • Add 1/2 cup-3/4 cup water with salt and mix well. cover and cook until mushroom are tender
  • Add spinach leaves and mix well. Cook until spinach wilts
  • Add cream and mix well. If required, add 1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi for additional taste
  • Cook for 1 minute. Switch off. add lemon juice and mix for additional taste
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve warm with roti or naan
