Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 1 cup semolina/bombay ravva


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 2 cups water or milk


  • 2 tablespoon ghee


  • 1 tablespoon cashew and kismis


  • 1 Pinch of ilachi optional

Directions

  • In a pan add ghee, when it starts melting add semolina/ravva to this and fry till it looses raw smell
  • Now add sugar and mix well at this stage you can add ilachi
  • Now add water/milk and add preffered food colour and mix well
  • Simmer the stove and let it cook till all ravva thickens
  • Meanwhile take a plate and greese with ghee
  • After kesari is ready transfer to the greesed plate
  • Now cut into required shape and decorate with cashew and kismis
  • You can even fry this cashew and kismis along with ravva at the begining and also decorate
